Roger K. Smith, Sr., age 80, of Oswego, IL, died March 5, 2004. Born Dec. 15, 1923, the son of the late Kay and Blondell Smith. Beloved husband of 61 years of Rosa Lee; loving father of Roger, Jr. (Cheryl) Smith. Served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict, retiring in 1960 after 20 years. Funeral services Wednesday, March 10, at 11 a.m., at Overman-Jones Funeral Home. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
