Shock jock Howard Stern gave his listeners a jolt Friday, and it didn’t involve naked women, details about his sex life or crude talk about body fluids. Instead, Stern predicted his broadcast death.
“I’m a dead man walking,” he said during his nationally syndicated radio show. “There’s a cultural war going on. The religious right is winning. We’re losing.”
Stern was pulled off several stations Feb. 25 in the wake of Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl peep show and an ensuing FCC crackdown.
If his prediction comes true, Stern’s last show will be this week.
