Beyonce’s next film role could be as a pop singer.
She’s in talks to star in the upcoming Pink Panther film as Xania, who decides to keep a stolen pink diamond she finds when her boyfriend turns up dead. The diamond is being sought by bumbling Inspector Clouseau, movie magazine Empire reports.
“The Birth of the Pink Panther” stars Steve Martin as Clouseau and French actor Jean Reno as Ponton, Clouseau’s driver, who really is an undercover cop assigned to keep an eye on the detective.
No word on whether Jay-Z will play her boyfriend.
