Heinrich Rickert, 77, of Lake Carroll, died Monday, March 8, 2004 at Pinecrest Terrace in Mt. Morris, IL. Heinrich was born in Prigrevica Sveti Ivan, Jugoslavia, son of Anton and Barbara, nee Heiser, Rickert. He married Elisabeth Bieber on April 14, 1951 in Austria. He had played soccer and was a ping pong champion in Salsburg before moving to the United States in 1955. He had worked for Jewel Grocery Stores while he lived in Chicago and Park Ridge. After retiring he moved to Lake Carroll, IL where he enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife; brother Joe (Elisabeth) Rickert of Buffalo Grove, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Anton. Funeral services will be Thursday, 6 p.m., March 11, 2004 at the Hermann Funeral Home in Pearl City, IL. Visitation will start at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at St. Luke Cemetery in Chicago, IL. A memorial fund has been established for the Pinecrest Terrace and Ogle County Hospice.
