Robert W. “Skip” Skipton, 56, of Lake Bluff, died suddenly March 7, 2004. Son of Helen and the late Robert Skipton of Pontiac; brother of Stephen (Bobbi) Skipton of Cottage Grove, OR, Ann (Preben) Hansen of Glenview and the late Susan (John) Korschot of Lee’s Summit, MO; uncle of Amy, Drew and Calla Korschot, Katrina, Lukas and Heidi Hansen; longtime, loving friend of Christine O’Brien of Lake Forest. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, at the Church of St. Mary, Green Bay at Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., American Heart Assn., American Cancer Society or because of Bob’s love of animals, to a charity benefiting the welfare of animals.
