Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez in a movie musical? The idea’s not so far-fetched.
The Oscar winner and the Razzie winner are preparing to star in “American Darlings,” Variety reports. Set during World War II, the movie follows a white female swing band that teams up with black and Hispanic musicians to play previously male-dominated clubs.
Both actresses are versatile, but the guess here is that Nicole will be part of the white female group and J.Lo will be part of the Hispanic group. OK, bad joke. Anyway, Kidman, who is said to be the driving force behind the project, will executive produce as well.
Meanwhile, gossip hounds on Lopez’s trail reportedly spotted her holding hands with recent love connection Marc Anthony on Monday night. The two were spotted heading into Miami nightspot Mynt, according to the New York Post.
