Although Ralph Nader may indeed be taking votes from the Democratic candidate, causing President Bush to be re-elected, at least he is making an attempt at more than a two-party system where both parties are so similar they are hardly distinguishable. Perhaps he is not gaining many votes now, but it is my hope that in the future people will be less inclined to believe that voting for what they feel is right is “throwing away” their votes if the candidate does not have a huge chance.
