Beloved husband of the late Lee, nee Hagstrom; loving father of Karin (Carl) Schaefer, Anita (Reid) Stehmeier and Sonja Schaefer; dear grandfather of Maxwell and Ian Stehmeier; fond brother of Dolores (the late John) Baron and Marion (the late Walter) Johansen; uncle to many. A memorial service will be held Sunday 7 p.m. at Unity Northwest Church, 259 E. Central Rd., Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers memorials to American Lung Association appreciated.
