Who’s in it: Paul Bettany, Willem Dafoe, Ewen Bremner, Vincent Cassel
What it’s about: A fugitive English priest (Bettany) in the 14th Century falls in with a troupe of traveling actors (led by Dafoe) who encounter a woman being sentenced to death for witchcraft and murder. The actors stage a performance based on the crime and discover that the townspeople know the woman did not commit the murder.
