Thomas F. Tobin, 74, of Wilmette, passed away March 9, 2004. Dearest husband of Irene, nee Pfaff; loving father of Mary, Thomas, Michael and James B. (Susan) Tobin; cherished Papa of John and Joseph Tobin; dear brother of Teresa (the late John) Buckley and Edmund (Kathleen) Tobin; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mentor to many as a trial lawyer for more than forty years. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette. Prayers at the Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, with Mass following at 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph Church, 1747 Lake Ave., Wilmette. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Masses preferred.
