Erwin Charles “Stubby” Hofer, of Bruce, WI, formerly of Chicago and Arlington Heights, died in Eau Claire, WI on March 1, 2004, dearest father of Barbara (Michael) Martin, Sherrill Hofer, Kathleen Bernett, Carl (Elizabeth) Hofer, Jacqueline (Alan) West, James (Julie) Hofer and Megan (Michael) Juskiewicz; beloved grandfather of Heather, Michael, Jennifer, Tim, Katie, Kyle, Antonia, Jacob, Gregory, Corey, Courtney, Jaime, Johnathan, Jeffery, Jarrod, Kirsten and Sarah; cherished brother of Fritz (Loraine) Hofer of Ojibwa, WI and Anne Adams of Indianapolis, IN; preceded in death by his brother, Jack.
