Local rock god Billy Corgan is wasting no time moving on to his latest project: himself.
Corgan’s first solo performance in Chicago will be April 19 at the Metro, according to billycorgan.com. Also in the works: a way for a few lucky fans to attend recording sessions April 12-19.
Corgan is devising a ticket distribution plan to thwart scalpers that involves going to a chosen Chicago location on a certain day and being assigned a session to attend with a non-transferable invite.
If this whole solo thing doesn’t work out, sounds like Corgan would be great at working security for the TSA.
