March Madness is the best time in the life of a sports fan, because it is a pure celebration of competition. (“Four on the Floor,” March 15)
There are no pieces on “Access Hollywood” about the million-dollar advertisements during the commercial breaks, no cheesy halftime shows, and best of all, no overpaid athletes (insert punchline here).
The atmosphere of college basketball games is its own entity. It possesses a liveliness that no professional sports arena can rival. March Madness is the pinnacle of everything exciting and crazy in the NCAA. Filling out brackets with my friends on Selection Sunday is the biggest holiday of the year. I cannot wait to yell, scream, cheer and cry for my favorite team, and root for the underdog from the school I had no idea existed.
