Daniel Leo Barry, 20 years old, born in Evanston, IL. Died on March 14, 2004 after being struck by a car, in Huntington Beach, CA. Daniel was known to be of strong character, great courage, loyalty and compassion. He was a great adventurer with a love for the outdoors and the excitement of challenge. Daniel is survived by his mother, Amy Winburn Barry; father, Mark Barry; and beloved sisters Kelly and Bridget, all of Grayslake; his maternal grandmother, Janann Winburn of Elkhorn, WI; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service is planned for Monday, March 22 at 2 p.m. in the Independence Grove Forest Preserve Pavilion, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy.
