How appalling that the board of Triumvera Towers Condominiums in Glenview is limiting the Trujillo family to using the backdoor entrance for their son’s wheelchair (“Condo rule biased, suit says/Boy in wheelchair told to use back door, parents say,” Metro, March 16). Navigating in a wheelchair is difficult enough without having additional limitations. It would be fitting for the board president to spend time trying to get around in a wheelchair and experience firsthand the difficulties. Maybe then she would show a little compassion for this young man and his family instead of worrying about wear and tear on the front entrance. Where have good old-fashioned common sense and compassion gone? The condo board members should reconsider their stance.
