Copies of a new restaurant listing in Mundelein are flying out of Village Hall like, well, hotcakes off the griddle.
Surprised at the appetite for the list of 75 eating establishments, staffers have printed at least 1,000 fliers and are updating the restaurants on-line.
They compiled the list about a month ago as part of a business newsletter, then churned out more copies at the request of hotel managers.
“It’s a handy dandy little listing,” said Mike Flynn, assistant village administrator.
