Thomas J. Kelly, husband of Katharine “Kitty”, nee Joyce, died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 18, 2004, surrounded by his wife and children, Eileen (David) Carpenter, Joe (Patricia), Paul (Esther) and John; Pop-Pop to Michael, Katie, Sean and Samantha. He was the son of the late Thomas and Rose, nee Kern, Kelly. He served as Scoutmaster for Troop 64, Northbrook, IL. He retired from Amoco Chemical in 1992. He was a Eucharistic Minister of Care at Our Lady of the Brook, serving hospitalized patients. He will be remembered as a chef, pianist and water colorist. Family and friends will meet for a visitation Monday, 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Brook Catholic Church, 3700 W. Dundee Road, Northbrook, IL 60062. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name may be made to the Palliative Care Center and Hospice of the North Shore, 2821 Central St., Evanston, IL 60201 or Our Lady of the Brook.
