Since when does a fugitive from military justice, a deserter, rate a Page 1 story and color photograph in the Tribune (“GI to test morality of war,” March 15)? When was the last time a heroic soldier was given so much singular attention on the cover of the Tribune?
It is interesting to see the true editorial slant of the Tribune so fully exposed. It is also sad.
