You can take the boy out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood out of the boy.
Fox likes that premise and just picked up 13 episodes of “Method & Red,” the sitcom starring Method Man and Redman, reports soho.com.
The comedy is based on the culture clash that results when the rappers set up house in a predominantly white New Jersey community.
“You got two rappers, they’re just starting to blow up,” Method Man says of the show. “They bought this big-ass house and are having all these parties in it, and [then] what happens? One of the rapper’s mommas moves in.”
A premiere date for the show has not been set.
