– Thanks to Dial-A-Baklava, Greek Easter specialties are as close as the phone with this cleverly titled program from the Ladies Philoptochos Society of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 103rd Street and Kilbourn Avenue, Oak Lawn. Members are preparing the items such as spanakopita (spinach-phyllo triangles, $7 per dozen); tsoureki Easter bread ($6), red-dyed eggs ($5 per dozen) and, of course, baklava ($18 per 9-by-12-inch pan). Items can be picked up 10 a.m.-noon April 3 at the church. Proceeds benefit local charities. Call 708-636-7874 for information.

– Zingerman’s Delicatessen in Ann Arbor, Mich., is one of just two U.S. picks in Food & Wine magazine’s “25 of the World’s Best Food Markets” named in its April issue. (The other: Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco.) It may not sound quite as exotic as some of the others named–the Kauppatori Market in Helsinki and the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo–but it’s a lot closer. You can even visit it from home: log on to the Web site, zingermans.com.
