Alan E. Geary, age 61, of Naples, FL, formerly of Flossmoor, IL, passed away March 20, he was the beloved husband of Joyce Geary, nee Sass; loving father of the Reverend Jeffrey Geary (the Reverend Noelle Damico) of Setauket, NY, Janel Geary Ordanas of South Chicago Heights and Alane (Keith) Krumbine of Cleveland, OH; cherished son of Mildred Geary; dear brother of Ronald (Norma) Geary; and proud grandfather of Caden Ordanas and Anya Krumbine. Alan was preceded in death by his father, Albert Geary; and his sister, Judith Cummings. Formerly of Skyline Electric of Crete, IL, Alan was an electrical contractor with I.B.E.W. Local #134, a trustee and choir member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chicago Heights, a police officer in Sauk Village and a volunteer fireman for Flossmoor Fire Department. Upon moving to Naples, FL, Alan became a member of Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church and served as the first President of the Carleton Lakes Homeowners Association. Visitation Wednesday, March 24 from 2 to 9 p.m. at Hirsch Spindler-Koelling Chapel, 507 Exchange Street, Crete, IL. Funeral Services Thursday, March 25 at the First Presbyterian Church in Chicago Heights at 11 a.m., with a 1 hour visitation prior to the Service.
