Eileen P. Malm, 87, of Bridgman, MI, formerly of Western Springs, IL, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2004, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, MI. Cremation will take place and a Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 29, at Harbert Community Church, Harbert, MI, with the Rev. Dr. Joel Kruggel officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at Boyd-Pike Funeral Home, Bridgman, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Harbert Community Church, P.O. Mrs. Malm was born July 31, 1916, in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of the late Walter and Hanna (Tesdahl) Peterson. She was an active member of Harbert Community Church in Harbert. She enjoyed participating in the Investment Club and playing bridge. On April 4, 1942, she married Carl F. Malm and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1986. Survivors include two sons: Paul (Katherine) Malm of Wilmette, IL and Jon (Suzanne Kamp-Malm) Malm of Bridgman, MI; five grandchildren, Michael (Wen) Malm, Anne Malm, Peter Malm, Jennifer Malm and Jon Malm. Mrs. Malm was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
