– The fourth-annual Classics and Chrome Car Show will take place April 17 and 18 at the Indoor Sports Center, 8800 E. Riverside, Loves Park (off I-90 at the Riverside exit and one mile east). The two-day exhibit includes 100 antique, classic and specialty cars. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and free for children younger than 12. Proceeds benefit Keith School, an independent, college-preparatory school in Rockford. Call 815-399-8823.
– Mazda brings its Rev It Up racing school back to Chicago April 17 and 18 at Arlington International Racecourse. The event is designed to teach better car-handling skills and wiser choices. Besides skills instruction, there will be a competition course. Instructors are NASCAR, IRL, CART and NASCAR Craftsman Truck drivers. The school costs $40. Visit www.mazdarevitup.com.
