Lloyd Jerome Heyden, October 29, 1936 to March 22, 2004. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, Lloyd J. Heyden, passed away on March 22, 2004. Lloyd was born to James C. Heyden and Esther Aslaug Sundsbak in Chicago, IL. He married Fran H. Ornelas on December 14, 1956. Lloyd was a retired Chicago Police Officer of the 1st District, Foot Patrol Unit. Veteran of U.S. Army. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Fran; three sons, Ken Roberts, Cary, USAF and Doug; and one daughter, Debra; four grandchildren, Kendra, Rena Roberts, Eric and Adam Heyden; one great-granddaughter, Alycia Montero; three brothers, Jerome, Ret. P.D., James (Jim) and Paul, Ret. P.D.; one sister, Joan Voelkner; and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Lloyd was a 10 year resident of Colorado Springs, CO. Cremation was held at Colorado Springs Crematorium, 930 S. Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO.
