Daniel E. O’Connor, born June 25, 1921, deceased March 23, 2004. Preceded in death by wife, Marion, nee Riley; beloved uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; cherished friend and family member of the Nortons, the Campbells and Lanzillottis of the Chicago area. Survived by sisters-in-law, Georganna and Mary O’Connor. Attended DePaul University and left there to serve his country during WWII. Landed at Normandy Beach day two, fought in the Battle of the Bulge and went on to become a decorated WWII veteran. After the war he lived in the Chicago area and worked as a professional mover, and was a caring and giving person who never asked anything in return. Visitation at Marik Funeral Home, 6507 W.
