Members of the clergy don’t know everything. The best ones confess that. In a splendid ray of candor during a wedding at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, Rev. Bill Zavaski looked down at the bride and groom during the service and said, “Rob and Janet, this is the point where I’m supposed to tell you how to have a happy marriage. Well, I have no idea.”
Considering that Catholic priests don’t marry, that made sense. Of course, he went on to explain what he supposes to be the way. But it was a nice moment.
