April 3 at The Alamodome in San Antonio

Oklahoma State (31-3) vs. Georgia Tech (27-9), 5:07 p.m.

Both teams have guard-oriented lineups, play tough defense and like to run. Oklahoma State is considered undersized inside with 6-8 Ivan McFarlin and 6-7 Joey Graham, but they often play bigger than they are. Luke Schenscher is Georgia Tech’s inside weapon.

The Yellow Jackets have gutted out two victories despite Elder’s ankle injury, but Oklahoma State looks too good for it to happen again.

Duke (31-5) vs. Connecticut (31-6), 7:47 p.m.

These teams met in the NCAA title game in 1999, when Connecticut pulled a stunning upset.

Expect a fast-paced game. Both teams have blistering running games and three-point attacks, and average more than 79 points.

If the Huskies’ Emeka Okafor’s shoulder or back bother him, it’s a toss-up. Otherwise, despite results against common opponents that suggest otherwise, expect a Connecticut victory.
