Jim Oberweis’ anti-immigration advertisements were not the only reason my family and I stopped purchasing his milk and patronizing his retail outlets. His deplorable stances against marriage equality and reproductive freedom helped seal Oberweis’ fate in our household.
As much as we enjoyed his products, we could no longer in good conscience fund the continuing political aspirations of a man whose societal views so directly contradicted ours.
