Kelly Osbourne followed in the unfortunate footsteps of her father, metal star Ozzy Osbourne, Friday when she checked into a Malibu drug rehab clinic.
Ozzy and wife Sharon discussed Kelly’s addiction on “Larry King Live” hours after she was admitted.
“I asked Kelly on several occasions, ‘Are you taking drugs?’ ” Ozzy said. “She said, ‘I promise you, Daddy, no.’ ” Sharon added: “She admitted it after a lot of twisting.”
Meanwhile, Ozzy, now known as the mumbling, stumbling dad on MTV’s “The Osbournes,” filed a complaint with the California medical board. He accuses a Beverly Hills doctor of overprescribing drugs to him, leading to his disoriented state on the reality show.
The new season of “The Osbournes” premieres at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
