Sound the alarm: Mariah Carey is plotting a comeback.
(And just for the record, RedEye issued a warning about this back in March.)
TV tabloid “Extra” reports that the pop diva, who last we heard was giving a concert to 10,000 chiropractors in Las Vegas, has a carefully constructed comeback plan, including a new album with songs produced by Chicago’s own R. Kelly and Kanye West.
Mariah also has a new manager, mega-starmaker Benny Medina, a role in the London stage remake of “The Prince and the Showgirl” and possibly a new TV show. “Extra” says she is meeting with networks to discuss a prime-time gig.
And as if that’s not enough, the singer says she wants to get back into movies, preferably in an independent film.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
