I had the pleasure of listening to Vin Scully broadcast the Cubs and Dodgers on TV recently when I was in Los Angeles on business. His broadcasts are truly professional. He delivers well-researched insight into the game without drawing undue attention to himself, unlike our very own Chip Caray. I learned more about Cubs players from Scully in two innings than I have from Caray since he’s been in town. The more I listened to Scully, the more I realized Cubs fans deserve better than Caray. Tribune Co. should do the right thing and not renew his contract.
