James Patrick Barrett, loving husband of Eileen, nee Healy; cherished uncle of Kathleen Soriano, Michael, James and Thomas Tuohy, Brian, Beth, Julie, Greg and Jim Morrow, Marty, Matt, Jill and Mikey Healy; brother-in-law of Jim and Pat Morrow and Martin and Joanne Healy. A retired longtime employee of the city of Chicago, James was also a WWII Navy veteran, member of the Amvets and an avid golfer. Funeral Monday 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to Queen of All Saints Basilica for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Town of Maine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dreams for Kids, 218 N. Jefferson, Chicago, IL 60661.
