Larry “Rocky” Brooks, 71 of Wheeling. Beloved husband and best friend of Doris for 50 years; loving father of Dave (Karen), of Vernon Hills, Darren (Lori) of Roselle, IL; dearest grandfather of Kaitlin, Lauren, Courtney and Lisa. “Rocky” was a Supervisor of Operations and Maintenance for the Village of Wheeling for 20 years, also an avid car buff. Prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling (2 blocks south of Dundee Rd.) for a 11 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph the Worker, 181 W. Dundee Rd., Wheeling. Inurnment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
