– Independence Air is selling tickets for flights out of Washington Dulles International Airport. Chicago; Boston; Atlanta; Newark, N.J.; and Raleigh-Durham, N.C., are the airline’s first five destinations. Thirty more are to be added this summer. The company hopes to challenge major airlines with a schedule of flights that will allow as many as 1,400 connections a day from Dulles.
