Indonesia’s struggling President Megawati Sukarnoputri is keeping her pitch simple as she campaigns for next month’s elections: Choose the prettiest candidate. “Choose the most beautiful candidate on the ballot paper, the one with mole on her right cheek,” she said in Medan on Sunday. Megawati is the only female candidate campaigning for the elections.
