Mark Burnett is at it again. The reality guru behind “Survivor” and “The Apprentice” is developing a rock ‘n’ roll version of “American Idol,” Variety reports.
Neither Burnett nor his business associates are commenting on the project, but industry insiders said the show will search for a crooner who could step in as the lead singer of an existing, internationally known rock group.
