Closed: Federal offices, federal courts, Chicago Board Options Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Stock Exchange.
Open: Public schools in Chicago and the suburbs; all city and county offices; state courts; some banks.
Running as normal: Parking meters must be fed; CTA, Pace and Metra will run on normal weekday schedules; trash will be collected Friday.
Postal Service: None on Friday.
