Fleck was a member of back-to-back Illinois 3-A state champs at Kaneland High School in Maple Grove and a member of the

Tribune’s All-State team with a state-record 95 catches his senior season.

College:

The two-time team captain at Northern Illinois helped the Huskies to a 10-2 record and a stint in the nation’s Top 25 during his senior year. He led the Huskies with 77 catches for 1,028 yards and six TDs in 2003. He majored in elementary education.

Fleck’s typical day so far at 49ers mini-camp in Santa Clara, Calif.:

6 a.m.: Wake up

6:30 a.m.: Breakfast

7:30 a.m.: Meetings

9:30 a.m.: Practice

12:30 a.m.: Meetings

2 p.m.: Lifting weights or practice

7 p.m.: Study, study, study!
