Shirley Kline, nee Black, of Olympia Fields, formerly of Chicago Heights, passed away June 19, 2004. Shirley was the beloved adoring wife for 55 years of George A. Kline; loving devoted mother of Betti (Neal) Goldberg and Mitchell (Cherie) Kline; dear sister of Frimi (Larry) Martin; cherished proud grandmother of Joey, Shana and Liza Goldberg and Ari, Richard and Jacqueline Kline; treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mr. and Mrs. Kline were the owners of Kline’s department store in Chicago Heights. She was a charter member of Temple Anshe Sholom in Olympia Fields. Shirley was a volunteer extraordinaire. She was a member of many charitable organizations and the recipient of many awards. Shirley was a valued, casring friend to all who knew and loved her. Service at Temple Anshe Sholom, 20820 S. Western Avenue, Olympia Fields, will be Monday, June 21, at 1 p.m. Interment immediately following at Beverly Cemetery, 12000 S. Kedzie, Blue Island. Memorials in her memory may be made to Temple Anshe Sholom, Olympia Fields, Jewish United Fund, 1 South Franklin, Chicago, IL, and Kline-Goldberg Picnic Fund at J.C.C.
