Lawyers’ corporate roles examined

“The Leadership Balance: Your Role as Lawyer and Executive” is the theme of the two-day 2004 SuperConference.

The event is hosted by Corporate Legal Times and will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Tower, 301 E. North Water St.

Attorney and media legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin and Nancy M. Higgins, executive vice president of ethics and business conduct at MCI, will deliver the event’s keynote speeches.

Other highlights include sessions on the changing role of the general counsel in today’s corporate environment, calculating the law department’s contribution to the bottom line, and law firms and departments in the post-Enron era and beyond Sarbanes-Oxley.
