Former tennis stars Monica Seles and John McEnroe played tennis aboard a floating court Monday in London as part of a promotion for the All England Tennis Championships and celebrity matches during a four-day event on the Thames River. Alicia Keys also is scheduled to hold a concert at the site.
What did McEnroe and Seles do if a ball bounced overboard? That was the least of their concerns.
“I’ve had some nervous moments in my career,” Seles said, “but sea legs is a new one for me.”
