I am disappointed by the Tribune’s June 18 editorial. New Chicago Teachers Union president Marilyn Stewart is a savvy teacher with many years of experience in the classroom and with special education.
She has been a union activist for many years, and her leadership skills are obviously recognized by union members who voted for her.
