So Jack Ryan is gone, no matter that the allegations against him are unproven and are unprovable. Did the Tribune play “gotcha” in order to increase circulation?
I do not know Ryan and I have never met him.
But I do know that the destruction of a candidate based on an ex-wife’s charges is a dangerous thing for an electorate.
It is far better for the Tribune–and all the media–to concentrate on issues and ideas rather than publish junk that cannot be proved.
