David D. Jackson, age 65, of Belvidere, IL, died suddenly Wednesday, July 14, 2004. David was born April 3, 1939 in Temple, GA. He was a retired from A.H. Weiss Company in Chicago. David had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed helping others see the lighter side of life through laughter. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Barbara; daughter, Sheri Burks of Markham, IL; sons, David Sean (Sharon) Jackson of Maywood, IL and Adam Jackson of Belvidere; grandchildren, Stephen Burks of Markham, IL and Krystal Jackson of Rockford, IL; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2004 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Jim Williams of Faith Center in Rockford, officiating. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2004 at the funeral home. A memorial will be established.
