– Rangers at Michigan’s Kensington Metropark are testing three-wheeled standing chariots for reliability. The chariots are on loan from the U.S. Army’s National Automotive Center in Warren. The battery-powered devices will be used to patrol the park’s 4,357 acres.
– Chicago is providing free copies of its bike maps to cyclists. The maps show streets with bike lanes and other preferred routes for cycling as well as paths for bikes. The maps are available by e-mailing cdotbikemaps@cityofchicago.org or calling 312-742-BIKE (2453).
