– Operators of the Spirit of Ontario, which makes two round-trip voyages daily between Rochester, N.Y., and Toronto, have sold more than 25,000 one-way tickets since the vessel’s maiden voyage June 18. If the 774-passenger vessel were full every time, that would be close to 65,000. Ridership has exceeded the company’s projections by about 25 percent.
