George P. Simon, 75, longtime resident of Deerfield, and former member of the Board of Trade, passed away July 28, 2004. Beloved husband of Shirley, nee Benson; cherished father of Claire (Andrew) Lasser, Annette (Filippo) Del Prete, Sue (Jim) Wynne and James Simon; dear Papa of Catlyne, Chloe, Kyle, Chiara, Ali, Megan, Bridget, Hannah and Jackie; dear brother of Freda Marcus and the late Fran Schoenwetter; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, July 31, 2004, from 1 to 3 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL 60035.
