La-dee-da, our lazy days of summer continue. Reader and multiple Challenge champ Chris Miksanek of Rochester, Minn., devised this week’s Challenge:
“Now that our little alien friend Alf has his own talk show, it got me to thinking who else should have one. For example, Zeus might host a show with mythological guests and standard daytime fare (`Oedipus: Mothers and the Sons Who Love Them!’). Or maybe SpongeBob SquarePants could host an underwater show with guests Flipper, Moby-Dick and Charlie the Tuna (who we learn actually needs the glasses).
“C’mon, fellow Challengers, name a person, real or imaginary (as long as it’s not Chevy Chase; he already had his chance), who should helm a talk show and tell us why. For extra points, what would the format be and who would be guests?”
OK, readers, the champ’s done talking; time to show us what you’ve got. Send entries by Thursday to q@tribune. com. Include name and address and put Challenge 95 in the subject field. Top three entries win an Alf “Got Cat?” poster.
