Tiger Woods shot a 6-under-par 66 Saturday at the Buick Open in Grand Blanc, Mich., but still lost ground to Vijay Singh.

Singh shot a third-round-best 65 for an 18-under 198 and a two-stroke lead over John Daly, who shot a 66.

Woods is tied for third at 15 under.

Defending champion Jim Furyk, who shared the second-round lead with Singh, struggled. Furyk shot a 70 and fell into a tie for sixth.

– Peter Jacobsen shot a 1-under 70 for a share of the second-round lead with Craig Stadler in the rain-delayed U.S. Senior Open in St. Louis. Stadler had a 69 to match Jacobsen at 7 under, a stroke ahead of Jose Canizares (68).

– Annika Sorenstam overcame two double bogeys for a 7-under 209 through three rounds of the Women’s British Open, five strokes behind co-leaders Heather Bowie and Rachel Teske.
