Fred A. Bartoli, age 87. WWII Veteran Army Sgt. and Pearl Harbor survivor. Beloved husband of Jennie “Rusty”, nee Russori; loving father of Fred (Cindy) and Pam Bartoli; dearest son of the late Eugene and the late Isola, nee Cecchi, Bartoli; dear brother of Etta (the late Art) Hess and the late Chuck (the late Marge), Peno (the late Lucille) and Danny Bartoli; devoted grandfather of Fred (Lori) Bartoli, Andrea (Rob) Conner, Brian Tondryk and Jamie (Mark) Ginsberg; and great-grandfather of Mason Fred Bartoli; fond uncle of nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 9:30 a.m. from The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave., to St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Bartoli was the founder and former owner of Gino’s East Pizzeria located on Superior and Michigan Avenue, also the founder of the Chicago Red Top Cab Company.
